1. General

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases and bookings made through shredacademy.co.uk.
By placing an order or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.
“We”, “our” and “us” refers to Shred Academy / Shreducation. “You” refers to the customer, parent, or guardian making the purchase or booking.

2. Course Bookings

Spaces are limited and confirmed once payment (or optional donation, in the case of Shreducation) is made online.
Prices are displayed on each course page. Any additional venue charges (e.g. Southsea Skatepark £3 entry fee) are forwarded directly to the venue.
Cancellations made 7+ days before the first session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.
If a session is cancelled by us (due to weather, illness, or venue closure), you will be offered an alternative date.

3. Waiver of Liability (Courses & Sessions)

Participation in scooter, BMX and Skateboard riding and skatepark activities carries inherent risks, including falls and injuries.
By booking, you confirm that your child is medically fit to participate and that you accept these risks.
Shred Academy, Shreducation, our coaches, and partner venues cannot be held liable for injury, accident, or loss of property, except where caused by proven negligence.
Helmets are mandatory. We strongly recommend additional protective gear (pads, wrist guards as well as gumshields and bar ends).
You consent to first aid being administered and for medical treatment to be sought in the event of an emergency.

4. Online Product Sales

All prices shown include VAT (where applicable) and are in GBP.
Payment must be made in full at the time of order.
Many of our printed items are made to order. Please allow up to 7 working days for production before dispatch.
Standard UK delivery is typically charged at £2.99 and international delivery at £19.99. Final shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be confirmed at checkout.
Risk of loss and title for goods pass to you upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days for a replacement or refund.
Returns for unwanted non-personalised items are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided goods are unused and in their original packaging. Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Personalised or custom items (including items printed with rider names, numbers or other bespoke details) are non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty.

Shred Academy CIC provides coaching services, sessions and camps. The Brothers Shred Ltd provides merchandise and apparel. When purchasing through this website, you may enter into a contract with one or both entities depending on the items selected.

5. Refunds

Courses: See section 2 above.
Products: Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of returned items.
Personalised or custom items (including items printed with rider names, numbers or other bespoke details) are non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty.

6. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may be taken during sessions for promotional use with us and our partners. If you do not wish your child to appear, please notify us in writing before the session.

7. Data Protection

We collect personal information only for processing bookings, orders, and ensuring child safety.
Data will never be sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Shred Academy and Shreducation are run by SHREDUCATION COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY, a Community Interest Company registered in England & Wales.

We are a community-led organisation dedicated to supporting young riders and families through scooter coaching, Shreducation meet-ups, and educational adventures.

10. Policies & Safeguarding

By enrolling with Shred Academy or Shreducation, you acknowledge and agree to follow all relevant policies that ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.
These include our Safeguarding Policy, Child Protection Policy, Health & Safety Policy, Codes of Conduct (for Coaches, Riders, Parents & Spectators), Anti-Bullying Policy, Online Safety Guidance, and Photography & Media Policy.
These policies are reviewed regularly and may be updated from time to time. The most up-to-date versions are always available at shredacademy.co.uk.
